X-Rated doesn't actually have blocks so the whole center part is done and just needs the borders put on next week.
I also finished block 7 for the Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with this quilt but I figure I'll finish the blocks and then see, but I'm thinking sashed, on point. It should give the impression of the blocks floating, which would help deal with the background/sashing being the same fabric. I think that was a mistake but, oh well, we'll work with it and see.

I never thought of another background other than some neutral... I love the way it looks. the blue gives it more depth. Excellent choice.
I have looked at the instructions on this one and it would be the last one I would ever make just because of what you pointed out. Having the whole quilt put together in diagonal rows would mess with my head a bit. LOL! Kudos on your wonderful center. The worse is over!
OOO! love the color combo of your X rated quilt. Very nice.
The color in your Schnibbles is fantastic and oh fed my addiction!! Love it!!
Your X-Rated is SO pretty! Very nice job! And, cute block - can't wait to see more!
I love the colours you used for X-Rated. The background is perfect for those crosses. I used to have similar problems with running from room to room to complete a quilt. Then I kicked one of my kids out and took over her bedroom. It works!
I really like this schnibble very much!
I was designing a quilt 2 weeks ago and i didn't have the wall space in the sewing room and i didn't want to put it on the floor in the kitchen which is high traffic lately. So I just slapped up a bunch of flannel on the wall in the hallway and i had a design wall! It's temporary and you can take it down later. I put it up with tacks.
