Jelly Roll Quilt Along
So I couldn't wait to get started once I decided I liked the colour combo. I don't know for sure it's going to work but I decided to go for it. And here is block one.
I'm thinking of....wait for it....changing this block a bit! Don't you think a blue flower would look great in the middle of the nine patch? With a red center? I'm think it would balance the brightness of the blue.

Your block looks great with the blue! And yes...a blue block would be lovely in the center. But do you really want to undo all that work? Maybe wait and see how the next block comes out and how they look together. I gotta get my block made soon!
I was just rethinking my choice for a jelly roll this morning... and Iwas thinking of switching it to Sanctuary! It is beautiful and I don't think I would change anything until I saaw how the other blocks look.
I love the teal in the little sashings! I think I'd wait to see the next block too. ;-)
