Baby Go! giveaway

I know I promised it last week but I have been having a really hard time coming up with the giveaway for the Baby Go! There are so many options but then I got to thinking that the whole point of AccuQuilt is to make life for us quilters easier, not more complicated.
I really wish I had more of these to giveaway because I know so many who they could help but I only have the one, plus three dies. You can read my review of the Baby Go! here.

So here's how it's going to work. You have three chances to win.

Chance #1
Leave me a comment telling me how you think the Baby Go! will make things easier for you. That's it.

Chance #2
Use social media to spread the word about the giveaway. That's facebook, twitter, blogs, google+ etc
Leave me a comment with the link, and if it's on twitter make sure to include @caraquilts #gogiveaway in the tweet.

Chance #3
Like my new facebook page.

That's it. Three chances. The first one requires nothing but a comment, the extra two are a bit of work for you. I will draw on August 7th.
I'd love for you to follow/connect with me on various social media sites but I'm not going to force it. If you want to I'd love it, you can get all the link on the top left sidebar of the blog.

If I had a GO! I could make those baby quilts that have been on my to-do list... I have several with shapes that are not rotary friendly and the GO! would make cutting the quilts out such a breeze!

Persistence will surely pay off one of these days! I would SO! love a GO!

Thanks for the chance!

Cutting things out is not my favorite thing, but a Go Baby would make it easier. Since I love applique, a Baby Go would be fantastic! Happy quilting!

I love the sewing part of quilting but I'm not a fan of the cutting/prep part so the Go Cutter would really simplify my creativity. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

I now "like" you on facebook. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

The Baby Go would be a huge help to me. I don't have a cutting table or space to spread out except on my kitchen table. I think it would be so much fun to have the Go and cut out fabric (on my kitchen table of course) without taken up the whole table. I love your blog and check in every chance I get. OOOH I would have to buy Hexagon papers anymore!

LethargicLass said...

Well I have a bad back, and can't quite seem to find comfortable cutting height, so a Go Baby! would save me a lot of pain :)

Lately I have been in love with circles, and it would be so nice to have a fast way of cutting them!

A Baby Go! would make my life easier because I love my scraps. I also have a work-from-home job in which I work in the middle of the night taking calls and placing orders for people. When I am not taking calls I sort and cut my scraps. I would LOVE to be able to do this quickly and precisely! Thanks for the chance to win.

Laura said...

Oh man this would be awesome. My husband really wants a triangle quilt and I've been putting it off for months because I dread the thought of all the precise cutting. This would finally make it possible!

Deb said...

I'd love a Baby Go! I could take it on the GO and quickly cut out so many things! For applique, it would rock my world - instead of sitting there with a pair of points scissors and hoping not to slip I could quickly cut things out and be ready to sew!

SharonA said...

Anything that speeds up my cutting time, will help me a lot! I'd really love to crank out some charity quilts.

Thanks.

I really can't imagine all the amazing things you could do with this cutter! So many of those projects my little dudes have asked me to make that I've been afraid to try, no more!

As a busy mom of 2 boys (6 & 4) who can only quilt after work/ bedtime... this would make it so much faster (and maybe I could finish my christmas gift quilts on time this year!!!) LOL

I think that the Go Baby could really help me to try more complicated quilt patterns. I love the apple core quilt pattern, but the thought of cutting out every single piece by hand is very intimidating, especially if my cutting is slightly off! Thanks for the sweet giveaway :)

It would help so much with the basic cuts but also allow me to make some more intricate applique pieces. Better start with the basics first.

I am hoping that the go will help some with the arthritis in my hands as some days it is very painful to rotary cut and I don't seem as accurate any more

Mini MNM's said...

I have three little boys who are always curious about what I am doing so I can never use my rotary cutter (or even sometimes my scissors) for fear of them cutting themselves or one of the others. This would make it nearly impossible for them to get hurt! Thank you for the giveaway!

I just tweeted about your giveaway. I used the Baby Go with my SIL who just got one and it is amazing how well the shapes some out. I would actually give the Go to my mom who really has a hard time cutting accurately, though I might borrow it back sometimes to make the mosaic block from the Wish Upon a Quilt Company (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE8gbUxnQFY, if you want to watch it).
Thanks!

I really want to win a Baby Go! as right now I have to do all the cutting for my daughter who is learning to quilt. At 6 she is just too young to use a rotary cutter. But I've seen the Baby Go demo and really think it will be safe for her to learn to cut her own fabric. Leaving me time to do my own projects!

Oh the baby go would so help me use up some of my stash and make some of those awesome scrappy quilts. I would have so much fun cutting stuff up to sew together from my leftover bin! (OK so it is more than a bin - but don't tell anyone!) What could be more fun than using this to cut away!

I think having one of these would make my life easier, because I could cut triangles with the dogears lopped off already. That would help me with my sewing accuracy!

Oh my goodness, I'm dying to try one of these!

I think it would make it easier for me to do scrappy quilts. I can be kind of lazy and prefer a lot of "stack & whack" with similarly-sized pieces of fabric. I'd love to be able to just feed it through!

Okay, you all are wondering why am I entering this, since you all know I have one already. Being the GOOD Sis that I am, it is all about her right now. Thanks Cara and Accuquilt

It would make my life easier b/c I just had arm surgery and it hurts to cut a lot of fabric - with the Go Baby, it looks simple enough that my husband could cut the fabric for me! I don't trust him with the rotary cutter. Thanks for the chance!

Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway. I know having an Accuquilt Go would make it much easier to cut any quilt piece that's curved, like Apple Core, or Drunkard's Path, both of which I've manually cut with a 28 mm rotary cutter. It's tedious!

Mad Quilter said...

I would love to win this Go!cutter because i draw out all of my applique designs by hand. This will make my life easier since im getting married in 1 mth it will free up time with my soon to be husband!

The GO would make it easier for me because I need lots of little funky flowers (I'd pick that die) for a quilt i'm working on. Thanks for the chance.

The short version? I am overrun with scraps! I have plenty of great ideas for USING the scraps, but no desire to cut out a zillion little triangles or squares! C'mon, Baby! (Go!)

I can already imagine how much faster cutting would be with the Baby Go. I've been hearing some fabulous things about it. Hope to see for myself. Already follow you on twitter and facebook.

The circle die would have to be the best way to cut loads of petals for a 3D rose cushion. I found a great tutorial for one on the net and proceeded to cut at least a hundred similiar petals and it took me far too long and wore out my wrists just a bit. It would let you concentrate on the sewing. Great little invention! Thank-you for asking and for hosting this give-away! jil: weftandwarp (at) hotmail (dot) com

I like to make pixelated quilts...in particular 8-bit video game quilts (dig dug, donkey kong, Mario, etc). If your square cuts are slightly off things do not line up and you can have distorted faces, etc. It can be super frustrating!
