Oh the excitment!

Little Bit lost two teeth today. They have been loose for weeks and finally one fell out, and she pulled the other one.
The teeth are now safely in the tooth pillow waiting for the tooth fairy to come tonight. It is the same pillow my siblings and I used when we were kids. She was very determined to show off her missing teeth today.

On the sewing side I wiped up this Moda Bake Shop tote for the Cha Cha Challenge at Stitchin' Heaven. I used an old Chutes and Ladders charm pack I had and some white for the outside, and I lined it with a cream solid.

The handles are long, but that can be good, just hard to take pictures of. I added some inside pockets with the left over charms, and instead of trimming the HST to 3.5" I only trimmed them to 4", so the bag measures 14*17.5". Little Bit has claimed it for hers, which I was thinking would happen.
I also came very close to running out of thread. How close?
This close.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend!

Like I Need it....

But I've decided to join another challenge. And it's using charms again! Check it out.
This time is a bag using charms.

One finish

I finished Block Four of Le Jardin and am very happy with it. This was more like three blocks then one but it is very cute.

I have to tell you that the wovens from this line, the basket and one of the butterfly wings, are sooo soft and silky.
I went and got the ric rack for Nephew #2's quilt so I will try and get that on with the borders this week.
My mom had one of my quilts at her place that just needed binding so I sewed the binding on and now have to sew the back down. I figure that can happen while I watch tv or whatever in the evenings.

Caught Red Handed

Or is it faced??

Mister Mason Dixon decided to finish Little Bit's supper for her while no one was looking. He's trying to look all sweet and innocent but I think that beard gave him away. Instead of being nicknamed White Lightening I think we should call him Orange Beard.
This is what was left.

Not even a decent dishwasher lol.

On the quilting front I got all the pieces for Block Four cut out and glue basted so they just need to be sewn done. I ordered the fabrics for Little Bit's quilt so that is done and I now await the postal service coupled with customs...hmm I better not hold my breathe.

April Goals

For April I want to get this

to this

This apron has to be made up for my older sister. She chose the fabrics and pattern so its just up to me to put it together.

And I need to make this into something to wrap around a baby.
I also want to finish a surprise project.
Seem reasonable?

Here is Little Bit enjoying her Easter treats. I think she wore three different dresses today. This is what happens when you let a 6 year old dress herself.

The Easter Bunny Came

And left these goodies for DH,

and Little Bit

The bunny knew I was trying to be good and didn't leave me any.

Happy Easter!

YAY for suprise sales and mail

I went out to Cotton-by-Post to check if they had any Whimsy and to fondle fabric and I found out they were having a 45% off sale today and Saturday. So if you are London area head out!

No Whimsy but I did pick up these. A fig and Plumb and of course some more Rounenneries...this one is for something to do with placemats.

Block four from Le Jardin came today too!! I can't wait to work on this one.

The annual Spring Craft Show is this weekend, and of course regular Easter activities. And Little Bit has her birthday party. So I'll see you all
