Accu-Go Entry

So IHAN is having a giveaway for an Accu-Go, which I desperately want, if for no other reason then to help stop my slicing of fingers with my rotary cutter!!
If you know me at all you probably know two things
1) I'm a total klutz, just this morning I gave myself a fat lips taking out the recycling, and no I'm not elaborating further and 2) that I have little to no ability to organize or stay organized.
So here is an unedited picture of the stash/sewing area, which has been recently "organized" for the surprise-to-DH in-laws visit next month.
This is embarrassing but here we go.
The stash took over a shoe organizer..
Under the window...

And the main of it in pantries from Canadian Tire...

I'm hoping to figure out what to do with it all because I've come to a pint where I know I won't use some of it and it's just becoming more stressful then helpful.

So there it is...my shame and joy all in a few pictures lol.

I just told a friend of mine the other day to sort out the fabrics and kits and even UFOs she was never going to use or finish and just give them away! You'll have more space and you'll feel better knowing that it's all going to good use! :0)

Your sewing room is much, much, much more organized than my sewing room.

It's not nearly as bad as my room. My room is bad. Bad. Bad. I'm starting to missplace things and loose them in all the piles I got going on. Good luck sorting this all out!

Cara,
It looks like many of our sewing rooms - especially the ones that get used a lot which yours does. I know many who have lots of fabric and stacks here and there.
Enjoy playing with your fabric- if you find it is getting you down, then cull some and give it away. Bonnie Hunter's quiltville site has some good ideas for organizing the stash..
Storage and organizing the stash is a challenge for me- it is an ongoing process.
Regards,
Anna

Well Cara....I'd say your's looks pretty good....but I'm sure if you feel it is messy then it is messy. I think all fabric purchases should come with a little person to fold it and put it away each time you use it, don't you? LOL

Good Luck in the drawing :)

Smiles,
Kelly
