Thank you!

Thank you all my wonderful friends who read my last post and left me a message! I appreciate you seeing I was having an attack of self doubt and reassuring me. I feel so much better knowing I'm really not talking to myself here! In appreciation I'm going to do a giveaway! I've closed the comments for the last post and took all the names from those who commented and have put them in the tea pot and I will add any names who comment on this post.

What is up for grabs? How about two Essence charm packs, and about 22" of yardage! Such yummy fall colours. I've made a few thing out of this line and loved them all.

So just leave a comment here to win. I'll draw on October 11, which is Canadian Thanksgiving because I'm so thankful for all my online friends!

My comments have decreased lately too. I know for me, I have added quite a few new sites to my following list lately, and I don't take the time to comment on every one every day. I do enjoy reading yours and looking at your darling pictures.

I love Sandy Gervais fabrics and this giveaway is wonderful! I could make a few great things with that fabric!

Thanks for the chance!

I had to go and read the post before this one. I am so sorry...I have been soooo busy lately that I have only been able to get around to a few blogs and I try to go to the blogs that comment on my post. You have a very nice blog and I do enjoy coming by but time...time..time....

I like reading the blogs & get to as many as I can. I don't always leave a comment, but I should start doing more so you won't quit blogging. I like to read & see the projects people are working on. It give me inspiration.

I'm a new blogger in fact I posted my 17th blog today. I am still struggling in blogland and as of Oct 1 I had only 13 followers which are mostly family and friends. Not sure how I found your blog but I have it listed on my sidebar "as blogs I love to follow". The day I found your blog and noticed you were from London Ontario. I lived in London for many years in the 1970's. I loved London and lived in the Ferndale Subdivision near White Oaks Mall. If you go to my blog and read my profile you will see I have moved a lot. Being a shy person and for many many years did not feel confident in just about everything I did....I struggled everywhere I moved. I love reading everyone's blogs but very seldom leave a comment. I guess I still feel a little insecure but I would say I am not shy anymore. I have followed your blog and many others and just didn't leave comments. I've started to leave a few and I will say I will be leaving more as it is nice to get the comments on my blog. Hop over to my blog ......I've got a giveaway on and would love for you to hop along on the Fall-into-Fall Giveaway. I think joining as a participate in this giant giveaway has been good for me. I'll be commenting more.

I haven't been able to keep up with comments at all lately, or my blog reading in general, or my own blog for that matter, but I have stopped by yours a couple of times so rest assured people are still visiting even if we aren't commenting!

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and or all of the great projects you share!

I know how it feels when you feel like no body is out there. I have enjoyed your blog and will try harder to leave those little reminders. :)

Hi Cara,

I am a follower and love reading your blog. I have a challenge blog that I have to keep up with commenting on the entries so it's hard for me to comment on all other blogs I visit but I still like to take a quick moment to visit blogs I follow.

I'm still reading! I have been so busy with school starting and trying to get back into a routine, dealing with the first round of colds for the season in our family, and trying very hard to finish all the quilts that need to be finished a.s.a.p for all the new babies coming ☺ Add to that a stupid old computer that crashes more than it works and I just can't comment as often as I would like. But I'm still reading ☺☺

I pop by regularly and enjoy reading your blog!

I'm not very good at writing inspiring, thoughtful responses off the top of my head, so usually I just read and go.

I know by the traffic that visits my blog that a lot of people do the same thing- read and leave- so don't feel disheartened!

Hi Cara, I always loved growing up with a Canadian mother and an American father. We got 2 Thanksgivings every year! I think it made us kids a little extra grateful :) Oh, and I love, love, the pink boots!! So cute!!

Don't worry! We're here for you. I love that Essence! Would love to win it. I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It was still summer a week or so ago. That's Canadian weather for ya.

I read your blog but don't always comment. I have also been getting very little response on my blog. But I blog because I like keeping track of my quilting and the chance to correspond with other Quilters all over the world.

Such a lovely time of year. I can't believe how fast the year has flown by. I'll be spending time with my oldest son and his family this THanksgiving...can hardly wait to see them all again...haven't seen them since May.

Such pretty fabric! I love that line!
Comments on my blog have been slower as well. I think people just get busy at this time of year. Seems like the kids go back to school and then it is New Years before you know what happened!

It's always best to be thankful! I'm too committed right now, but I'm glad to have a job, and family, and friends, and a bit of time to blog and sew...

I loved Essence when it came out but never actually bought any. We dont have Thanksgiving over here in Australia either or Halloween. And it is spring now not Autumn which is so wrong. But being Canadian we decorate for Halloween and I have fall stuff around for October. I dont let my daughter trick or treat though which she would love to do but it is just not done over here :-( I will make sure I start commenting more often on your blog and I will stop being a lurker :-) I do love reading it.

Anonymous said...

There are so many wonderful, inspirational blogs that it seems I spend all my time reading and not nearly enough time commenting. I'm such a lurker :-/
I've thought about thinning the ranks of blogs I follow, but just don't seem to be able to choose who to keep or let go. Did you ever find the Rouenneries jelly roll?

Brenda said...

I love the essence line. I don't have a lot of time to comment on blogs but do read them as they come across my dashboard.

Cara, I am still reading but not always commenting either- it gets more complicated when school goes back in to have time to blog and read.
I have been reading blogs this weekend but most were blogs participating in the fall blog hop- not much of an excuse for not dropping in other blog friends, but....
I know as a blogger it is hard to write and not get much response to what you are writing..
You write a lovely blog and are a talented young woman. Hope you get lots of responses in the days to come. I also hope that you found the jelly roll you were looking for.
Your giveaway prize is nice and very thoughtful.
Warmest regards,
Anna
