This year I really want to make my first quilt top and then quilt it myself. Ambitious? Yes. But that's me all over. I have been a cross stitcher for over 14 years and now quilting is taking over. Also I really love the Pure collection but haven't bought one yet.

I discovered Sweetwater Designs just before Christmas - and I love the Pure fabric. I am so inspired to quilt! I had a 60 hour per week job for 3 years so I had to give up quilting. I was laid off 17 months ago and then I fell a year ago January 10th so I am just getting back to quilting after a very long absence (I first thought - no problem but it turns out I need my left arm to cut fabric). I have been finishing some UFO's and I am just starting to work on my stash.

Love your Blog! It helps keeps me inspired to sew!
