Update

So it sounds like my laptop is pooched, the extended warranty that would have covered the replacement of the faulty parts expired in September. So I'm trying to find out how much it would cost to pay for the replacement stuff or if it would make more sense to just buy a new computer, which I think would be a desk top because Little Bit is going to need to use one more often in the next few years.
I'm using an old laptop that is very unstable, ie shuts down randomly and often.

Any way I finished the Penny Mat from Sandy Gervais of the Cross Country Christmas Designer Blog Hop, seriously try saying that ten times fast.
This was my first time doing the blanket stitch by hand, and the first time doing the French Knot at all. I really enjoyed making this, and its really making me want to start the colour wheel on Amy's City Park blog. It was great to have something to do with my hands while DH watched football this weekend.
This is the mug cake from day three of the blog hop. It is quite tasty but I found it turned out differently almost every time, which makes me think I may have over/under beaten the egg, and I know my microwave is finicky.

Here is my moment...Little Bit came out of her room covered in Princess stickers, this was Sunday morning, when she refused to get dressed until almost 4 in the afternoon. Ignore the mess in the background, not cropped out though ;)

My little rose collection.

I almost forgot to show you the tree with all the buttons on that I blogged about last time in my pictureless post.

Nice job on the penny mat, did you already have the wool fabric at home? You are going to town on all these projects. I hope your win a prize!

Sorry to hear about your computer, I need to back mine up today, it 's been over 6 months. I to would be sick to lose any pictures.

Somedays I'm lucky if I'm dressed by 4!

You've been busy, I've looked at the projects posted but haven't done any of them. Love the wool mat and your little tree is darling.

Hi Cara!
What a pretty blog you have! Too bad about your laptop, it's probably wise to get a desk top to share with your cutie wee girl. It looks to me like you get a lot done!! That's awesome. :) I found a url for the jelly bargelly for you....

I'd love to see it if you do decide to make it. Each one is so unique!
Sorry for the essay here, I'm rarely at a loss for for words! ;)

Bummer about your computer :( I hope it turns out to be a cheap fix! Love your little penny mat. And the picture of little bit and her stickers reminds me of Sarah when she was little, good memories!

Cara, I can't believe you have made all those projects from the blog hop. I've been busy just printing all the instructions....haven't started one. Glad to know about the inconsistency with the mug cake recipe as I had planned to make a bunch of those for teachers. I'll definitely try it first. Love the Christmas tree. That is one of my favorite patterns from the blog hop. Your daughter is cute by the way. Good luck with the computer....just had to replace mine.
