I've had it

I have way to much fabric. I've been working on packing up my stash and I have no choice but to admit I have to much. Like way to much. Boxes and boxes and boxes.

Once I've moved this week I'm going to be having both a destash sale and a giveaway. The destash sale will be stupid low prices, basically earning enough for the shipping for the giveaways.

The giveaway? I don't know what yet but it will be a lot of fabric.

Stay tuned!

Hi there,
I came upon your blog following a link from your comment on Sharon's anniversary post. Just wanted to tell you - it's more than natural to have ups and downs, but the sun will shine again in your street ;-)! Good luck! Hugs for you.

Your so funny. I remember on all the moves in the military the poor packers lugging it from location to location...I finally parted with some of the olders stuff. Every now and then I go looking for a piece I "think" I have and realize it must have been given away with a move. Careful what you give away!! :-)

If you had a like button Cara, I would push the like button. I think we can all relate to too much fabric.
I am lifting a box for you in spirit.

Hi Cara, I just moved to Stratford a couple of months ago and I couldn't believe how many boxes of fabric I packed and then finding a place to put it has caused me many headaches. Best of luck on your move. Sandra

Hey Cara -- I don't know if you've seen, but I'm in the getting started up stages of starting a little etsy shop to sell quilts where all the proceeds go to Haiti... let me know if you want to donate something for the grand opening! :) And good for you for destashing (and making room for more). :)

I just found you over at moda bake shop. Love your quilt.
Happy to here about your destash sale. I have lots of old fabric, but I love the new fabric designs and colors, can't get enough. Need ideas to make quilts using any and or all colors. Must use up old fabric make room for new.
After Xmas I am going to go into my fabric and pull out all the ones I don't really care for (then find out I like it all) and start a small class to teach kids to sew. They can each make a quilt. Fun Fun.
